BLUE PLATYPUS

This small, woman-owned company creates its colorful, fun-loving apparel designs in-house and is “happily run by human beings, not AI.” Patterns feature groovy mushrooms, happy cows, cheerful fruits (like cherries, of course) and other clever creations. The line’s playful, comfy and high-quality jumpsuits, skirts, dresses and more are all produced in natural fibers with small contractors in Southern California. The owners started with a small line of t-shirts and evolved in a big way — like its namesake, the platypus. We also love that the company donates to causes to fight hunger and racism.
